May 31, 2010
Getting ready for my last day of speech with my kids this year. We are going to decorate cookies and maybe play a game. :)

May 30, 2010

Caleb and I stopped in Bryan, TX (on our way back from Houston) to see cousins Ashley and Rudy and their babies. Poor baby Aaron had a fever and was not feeling well. He is apparently quite the flirt when he is not sick.

May 29, 2010

We went to Houston for my sister's high school graduation. Soon she'll be headed for OU! Boomer!

May 28, 2010
Tree.

May 27, 2010

Fresh Basil grown on my porch.

May 26, 2010
This is what the sky looked like when I left for work this morning. I thought it was really pretty.

May 25, 2010
Just another day of work...

May 24, 2010
Amy is in town for a couple of weeks so we got together on Monday to catch up a bit. It was good to see her but it was too short!

May 23, 2010
Caleb and I went with some of Caleb's family to Six Flags...apparently I don't tolerate roller coasters as well as I used to. I was feeling pretty nauseous by the end of the day...

May 22, 2010
My mom and Catherine came through Dallas on their way home to Houston. They had gone up to Oklahoma to register Catherine for her classes.
We went with cousin Erin to Panera for lunch before they headed home.

May 21, 2010
Morning routine...

May 20, 2010
So I had these strawberries...and was thinking to myself that it would be really tasty if I had some chocolate to dip them in. I scavenged through my refrigerator and found a Cadbury egg leftover from Easter. I don't know if you like Cadbury eggs...I do. And apparently they are really good melted on strawberries.

May 19, 2010

Cooking some zucchini.

May 18, 2010

Refer to the post from March 31 to see what this plant used to look like. As soon as flowers started to bloom it began to shrivel up and die.
Oh and HAPPY BIRTHDAY Rachel! Sorry your birthday picture is a dead plant...

May 17, 2010

2 year anniversary. Love you Caleb. :)

May 16, 2010
Laundry day...

May 15, 2010

Went to the stockyards with some friends to practice using my camera. Of course when I saw this, I knew I had found my picture of the day.

May 14, 2010
Got soaked today...

May 13, 2010

Storm blowing in...it's supposed to rain for the next 8 or 9 days.

May 12, 2010
Back to my food pictures...Black bean burritos. This meal was a staple in college...so easy...and delicious...

May 11, 2010
So this week's theme is apparently "Cousin Erin." I promise I'm not obsessed...we just happen to see each other quite a bit/talk to each other pretty much every day...

May 10, 2010
I see Erin every Monday night for BSF. She is supposed to be modeling how windy it was! It is kind of hard to tell...
Erin I'm sorry but this was the best one of you...and I needed a picture for the day...

May 9, 2010
Deebs drove through Dallas on her way home from college. It was good to see her again! I was not made aware that this was supposed to be a silly picture...

May 8, 2010
Someone in our household (who will remain nameless) has an interesting habit which includes wearing his socks to bed but taking them off in the middle of the night. They end up at the foot of the bed and are discovered every time the sheets get changed. Apparently we had not changed our sheets in quite a while....

May 7, 2010
Thus ends teacher appreciation week. Topped off with a free mug and scholastic calendar for next year. I can't believe there are only 4 weeks left of school.

May 6, 2010
Reading...or taking pictures of myself pretending to read...or maybe a little of both...

May 5, 2010
More Banh Mi...this time from a different place. Don't ask me what that white stuff is...I have no idea...but I guess it tasted good.

May 4, 2010
Crocking up some meat...

May 3, 2010
I decided to paint my toes brown. I've never done brown before but I think I like it.

May 2, 2010
I like that our in-laws have a puppy...I can go to their house and get my puppy fix...and then leave.

May 1, 2010
Caleb's cousin Dan and his wife Erica came into town for the weekend. Caleb had been wanting to try the tacos at Fuel City. As the name would suggest, it is a gas station. The tacos at this place are supposedly some of the best in Texas. They were pretty good; however, there are no places to sit so we had to eat our tacos standing outside by the car.
