February 26, 2010
Ok this is a cop-out picture...but I didn't have any other ideas today. This is the camera that I have used to take the majority of the pictures on this blog. It was a Christmas present from my husband/parents/in-laws. We got a good deal on the white model. This camera also comes in red, navy, black. I am already wanting to look into getting another lens, although I'm not sure we will be able to afford one for a while.
p.s. sorry about all the still-life photos...I apparently need to get out more...

Ok so I don't have a very good sad face...but I wanted a picture to represent the fact that Caleb is not home on Wednesday/Thursday evenings b/c of class. And one or both of us have stuff going on Monday/Tuesday evenings...so we pretty much never see each other. It's a sad thing. Oh and I was messing with the colors on this pic...hence why it looks faded.

Working on the ole scripture memory...not that good at it.

They come but once a year...

I don't know if this stuff actually works...but I thought it was worth a try.

In-laws got a new puppy, Topper. Each of the puppies in his litter were named after hats. He is a cutie!

Probably not a good combination of drugs...but it depicts my day on Saturday: tired and congested.

Hoisen Chicken... I grew up on this dish. It is so easy and super delicious. Sorry about all the food this week....

February 18, 2010
V-day flowers are blooming.

A room that I spend much of my time in...It used to be a closet, but now it is the speech room.

February 16, 2010
I decided to splurge this week and buy some strawberries and grapes.

February 15, 2010
This week turned into the week of food. I didn't have anything to take a picture of today...this was my late night snack right before going to bed...a bad habit...

February 14, 2010
V-day.

February 13, 2010
After our lunch we decided to go get bubble tea at a place called Fat Straws. I had not had this stuff in ages and it was so good!

I couldn't decide on just one picture for today! My cousin Erin and I went to this hole-in-the-wall Indian restaurant, Sri Maharaja, in Lewisville. It was delicious! And cheap...
p.s. Isn't my cousin beautiful? She is so photogenic. :)

Snow Day! This is us pretending that we went out to play in the snow...the truth is, we were out there for about 5 minutes. I wanted to make a snowman but Caleb didn't care to. Someday when we have kids I will have someone to play in the snow with...

February 11, 2010
Thursday morning...right before leaving for work. It snowed ALL DAY and apparently set a record for most snow in a day for Dallas. We got 11 inches...although it was never cold enough to freeze the roads.

February 10, 2010
We had a bunch of gift money left over from our wedding and I decided it's about time that we try to use it up. :) Macy's was having a sale and I decided this could come in handy. Looking forward to using it!

Ok so this was the evening that I thought I was dying. It was so weird....I had a massive headache...and I felt nauseous and threw up...yet I had no fever and the next morning I felt fine. I took this picture right before crawling into bed...at 8:00. (Oh and don't be thinking any thoughts about morning sickness...that's definitely not what this was.) :)

February 8, 2010
This is the ginormous suitcase/laptop carrier thing that I take to and from work every day...UG.

February 7, 2010
Rachel came up for the day to visit. She came to church with us and then we went out to eat with cousin Erin. This picture is a little blurry but it was the best one of the both of them.

February 6, 2010
This is a painting that my sister painted for me. :)

February 5, 2010
This is my sweet friend Erin. I got to spend a couple of hours with her at Starbucks today. It is always so refreshing and encouraging to talk with her!

February 4, 2010
I was listening to a talk from Recovery at the Village and the speaker read the words to the song "Wholly Yours" by David Crowder. It's funny how you can listen to a song a hundred times and never really hear the words. Anyway, the words to this song are really awesome so I decided to write them down.

Dirty dishes....Why do they always pile up so fast??

February 2, 2010
I rest my case...I kill plants...

Chinese dumplings have become a staple in our home. They were our "comfort food" in China and we have been eating them ever since.
